Formerly the singer and guitarist of grunge trio ‘Inextremis’. Since the release of 'Home Recodings: Volume One' in and the birth of www.granthuwphillips.com ,he has gained a loyal following of music fans from across the globe. Volume 3 released in met with critical aclaim and dispite being the first collection of recordings to utalise digital technology, his music has lost none of it's lo-fi charm. 'Bricks and Stones' is the title of his latest album and it is his first album to feature both ukulele and concertina. His latest offering 'Dub' is an album of new tracks composed from pieces of old recordings, mixed after midnight using the wikipedia definition of Dub as a guideline. At present Grant is working through the songs and musical sketches created in 'Total Immersion Songwriting' sessions and experimenting with Cut Up methods of song writing for future releases.
